Polish tourist arrivals in Cyprus surged 45% in 2023 compared to 2022, exceeding 273,500 visitors. Notably, Paphos captured nearly half (49%) of all Polish tourists visiting Cyprus.
Unprecedented air connectivity between Paphos and Poland bolsters this trend. This summer season boasts up to 20 flights per week from six major Polish airports.
Paphos stakeholders are capitalising on these positive trends. The Paphos Region Tourism Development and Promotion Company recently participated in presentations across Warsaw, Krakow, and Katowice, adhering to its 2024 action plan.
This initiative, spearheaded by the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, aimed to inform travel agents about promoting Paphos as a year-round destination.
